Chocolate may keep you slim

People who are used to feed chocolate regularly tend to be thinner, Modern research advises. The findings come from a study of about 1,000 US people that looked at diet, calorie intake and body mass index (BMI), a measure of obesity, according BBC.

It is found those who ate chocolate some times a week were, on normal, slimmer than those who ate it sometimes. Even though chocolate is loaded with calories, it holds factors that may favor weight loss rather than fat synthesis, scientists consider. Despite boosting calorie intake, daily chocolate consumption was related lower BMI in the study.

The link remained even when other factors, like how much work out individuals did, were taken into account. According to the researchers, there is just one opportunity in a hundred that their findings could be explained by chance alone.

Usage of certain sorts of chocolate has been linked to few positive changes in blood pressure, insulin sensitivity and cholesterol level. Chocolate, specially dark chocolate, does contain antioxidants which can supporter to mop up harmful free radicals – unstable chemicals that can harm our cells
