Sanam Marvi Revives Sufi Music In Indo-Pak

The mellifluous songster Sanam Marvi, who got credit for singing Sufi songs on “Coke Studio”, is endeavoring to revive love for Sufi music in both India as well as Pakistan and also across the world.
Sanam Marvi has a wide flair for Sufi-qawwal music that she shows with her in-depth voice, taking listeners on a spell bounding journey to Sufism. Being a skilled Sufi singer under the famous Ustad Fateh Ali Khan, she seems at herself as a zealot for bringing back Sufi custom with her Sufism moved songs.
Sanam Marvi, after capturing Sufi music loving souls in Pakistan, has also provide her vocals in Bollywood movies for example London Paris New York and The Dirty Picture. She has also attached the Sufi festivals in France and Morocco and recently plans to do a Sufi Musical visit to United States.
Sanam Marvi made her debut with the admired classical music program “Virsa Heritage Revived” and now longs to sponsor Sufi customs worldwide.
“I imagine the most vital thing is spreading the Sufi kalam that is my focus – spreading the kalam to all corners of the globe anywhere my voice leads me”, said Sanam Marvi telling about her father Faqeer Ghulam Rasool, who was as well a Sufi songster.
